Building sandcastles and digging trenches are some of the most beloved summer activities for children. Although playing with sand always ends up being a bit messy, it offers valuable tactile stimulation. It allows children to experience different levels of moisture and textures, and also helps improve their fine motor skills. This is very beneficial for their development.

If it’s rainy and you can’t go outside to play with sand, you can still build a sandcastle using magnetic tiles. You can use yellow magnetic tiles to mimic the color of sand. Start by building symmetrical small towers on either side, connect them in the middle to create a bridge, and finally, use a large triangle on top to complete the main tower. That way, you'll have a simple sandcastle built indoors!
